Cynthia Bourgeault is a modern day mystic, Episcopal priest, writer and internationally acclaimed retreat leader. She divides her time between solitude in her seaside hermitage in Maine and travelling globally to spread the recovery of the Christian contemplative and Wisdom Paths. For more than thirty years she was a student, then colleague, of Fr. Thomas Keating, the founder of the Centering Prayer movement. She has written Centering Prayer and Inner Awakening and The Heart of Centering Prayer.
The retreat will introduce participants to the Christian Wisdom path and its relevance to our world today. It is designed to increase your capacity to know. Knowing in this tradition does not mean an increase in intellectual understanding but knowing more deeply, more intuitively, and with more of yourself. It is this different way of knowing that unlocks the real transformational power of the radical non-dual teaching of Jesus. Wisdom is about inner work and transformation, aligning the mind, body and heart.
