How to meet with God in creation

Biblical and practical teaching to lead us into experiencing more of the presence of God through silence, reflecting scripturally as we explore God's wonderful world, and just being.
Topics will include:

  • A biblical theology and spirituality of creation
  • Immanence and transcendence - insights from Cosmology
  • Celtic insights into 'the two books' Scripture and Nature.
  • Natural and spiritual rhythms and seasons of life
  • Experiencing awe and discovering the meaning of it all
  • Practising attentiveness and awareness through the senses
  • Metamorphosis - and processes of personal transformation
  • Looking at the birds/flowers part 1 - moving from anxiety to trust (Matt. 6)

Graham Both is an Anglican Priest, and a guradian of the international Community of Aidan and Hilde. Grahan and Ruth have been wardens of the Open Gate Retreat House on the Holy Island of Lindisfarne for the last 10 years. They have just moved to the Island of Fetlar in the Shetland Islands to establish a quiet house of prayer.
